BOISE COUNTY -- A bone found along the Payette River is that of an elderly woman who has been missing for four years. The Boise County Sheriff's Department says two people turned in the bone they say they found along the Payette River near Horseshoe Bend. The bone appeared to be a hip bone, with a plastic socket from a surgery. Sheriff's deputies took the bone to Dr. Mark Plew at Boise State University, who confirmed it was from a human.
