Well I am sure some white people lie but I know at least one black person who also lies all the time. His name is Barak Hussein Obama. So to be fair and non-partisan White President Bill Clinton lied about Monica Lewinski, White Vice-President Al Gore lied about global warming, White Vice-President Joe Biden lied about the summer of recovery, Black congressman Charlie Rangel lied about his finances and lied to the IRS, and half-white President Obama lies just about everytime he opens his mouth. So yes white people lie but so do black folks. But perhaps Obama is not considered to be black since he is half-white. Now then I wonder if the good reverend Wright will preach that from his racist pulpit? Naw I think not! Talk about hate speech! that were supposed to fund the military. Nobody knew what this Congress was really voting on… including members of Congress, who didn’t bother to read the bills anyway. The disgraceful “leadership” of Pelosi and Reid will be studied by generations to come, in the kind of class future kids only have to take when they’re caught skipping more interesting classes to fool around on their hoverboards. This was a Congress at war with American business, which is a war against American liberty, since business is the instrument through which we invest the hours of our lives. The 111th Congress spent its term menacing the private sector with disastrous, economy-killing ideas like cap-and-trade, Card Check, and value-added taxes… then wondered why nobody was creating any jobs. There’s no point in taking risks and doing the hard work to be a winner, when the losers get taxpayer bailouts, provided they have employees from the right labor unions. Of course, this is the Co... read full post For the paltry sum of $5,000 you too can help Charlie Rangel pay his legal bills. The Charles B. Rangel Legal Expense Trust sent out an urgent fund raising appeal this week, asking for the maximum $5,000 donation before December 31st. Because then donors would be able to shovel another five grand at Charlie's troubles next year too. Liked by Matt Ross The Jamaican Government has not gone unscathed from the leaking of U.S. Embassy cables by WikiLeaks. Just last week there was the publication of cables detailing Cuban Government criticism at what it felt was a lack of commitment on the part of the Jamaican Government to stem the tide of the illegal drug trafficking. Today comes more information as to what was happening in the run up to the Christopher 'Dudus' Coke extradition saga which finally played itself out earlier this year but not before the lost of lives and a further blemish on the image of Jamaica. The cable depicts a Government (or at least the wife of the Prime Minister) more caught up in conspiracy theories than trying to work out a meaningful way to resolve a crisis that would later escalate and turn violent and bloody. The lost of life it seems could have been avoided had the Government handled this matter in a less partisan way. All I know is that those images of rioting and dead bodies in the streets of Tivoli Gard... read full post proving that members of Congress, including — and perhaps especially — Barney Frank, were well aware that Fannie and Freddie were in deep trouble due to corruption and incompetence and yet they did nothing to stop it. Moreover, as the Globe notes, in July 2008, then-Treasury Secretary Henry Paulson says he called Frank and told him the government would need to spend “billions of taxpayer dollars to backstop the institutions from catastrophic failure.” Frank, despite that conversation, appeared on national television two days later and said the companies were “fundamentally sound, not in danger of going under.” Less than two months later, the government seized Fannie and Freddie and the bailout began. Rep. Jesse Jackson Jr. (D-IL): This year’s trial of scandal-ridden former Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich ended with “Blago” being convicted of only 1 of 24 charges related to the scheme to sell Obama’s vacated Senate seat to the highest bidder. But as the go... read full post Easy answer to that question... it's ours!!! When is Washington going to get it through their heads that our hard earned money IS NOT THEIRS? Progressives, Liberals, whatever name you give them, they operate under the false assumption that we owe them and what we pay in taxes can be used for whatever whim they fancy. Washington... you better start spending it as if it were someone else's... because it is, the American tax payers's! of the Federal Election Campaign Act, allowing him to drag out the ethics investigation for over two years. Rangel also violated House Rules. Members of Congress may use funds from their personal re-election committees for legal expenses related to their official actions. The National Leadership PAC is not Rangel's re-election committee but what is classified as a "leadership PAC," the purpose of which is make contributions to other candidates. Rangel's attack on NLPC today was similar to his attack on August 10 on the House floor. Today he told co-host Rosanna Scotto: The group that put that out (the Complaint) has been the same group that sends out solicitations "let's bring down Charlie Rangel." In the past, Rangel also dismissed our allegations about his failure to pay taxes on income from his Dominican Republic beach house, and his acceptance of corporate-funded Caribbean junkets. It turned out we were right. http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/2638256... read full post h1 a:hover {background-color:#888;color:#fff ! important;} div#emailbody table#itemcontentlist tr td div ul { list-style-type:square; padding-left:1em; } div#emailbody table#itemcontentlist tr td div blockquote { padding-left:6px; border-left: 6px solid #dadada; margin-left:1em; } div#emailbody table#itemcontentlist tr td div li { margin-bottom:1em; margin-left:1em; } table#itemcontentlist tr td a:link, table#itemcontentlist tr td a:visited, table#itemcontentlist tr td a:active, ul#summarylist... read full post |
