George Santayana was a Spanish philosopher, poet and writer. Below is an excerpt from wikiquotes about one of his sayings that is of extreme importance. Why? Because many have unwittingly adopted the philosophy of Marxism, which is nihilism, the belief that their is no objective truth and that history and philosophy do not matter. Why do they maintain this? Precisely because when you study history and philosophy, you discover that their claims about economics do not work and are a dead end to society, and are morally and philosophically bankrupt! This is why I emphasize history and philosophy as it pertains to American history, liberty, politics and economics. Don't add to our culture returning to infancy!

Tony Perkins, president of the Family Research Council said it's not all that surprising.

"This is further evidence that the administration has created an environment that is hostile towards American history -- but in particular towards Christianity," Perkins told Fox News. "I hope America wakes up and realizes what this administration is doing to this country and how they want to radically and fundamentally change America."

"They want to erase every aspect of America's heritage," Perkins said of Obama's administration. "Any president, any official in history that has embraced Christianity, is no longer welcome in this administration. That's the environment they are creating."

Johnson's bill, which had bipartisan support, is expected to pass a committee vote and he anticipates the full House will support the legislation.

Getting your child the correct type of doll may present a big challenge for you. For sure, you would want to give in to the wishes of your child and buy the most famous American dolls available in the market like Lalaloopsy Misty Mysterious or Lalaloopsy Marina Anchors . However, a part also wants to make sure that the doll you would be giving to your daughter will be educational as well. You would want them to learn more about American history with the use of their new toy.

Ahhh, good old American History, a topic many of us either thoroughly enjoyed or slept through during our school days. While many say that American history is boring compared to the history of other places, such as Europe, let’s just say you can’t compare apples to oranges. Even though American history doesn’t go back as far as European history does, it’s still a subject that a lot of people know very little about. Sure we know the basics: we gained freedom from Great Britain after being colonies, our first president was George Washington, there was a huge Civil War, then Reconstruction hit, then progressivism, imperialism, WWI, and so on. But, long before WWI and even before the Civil War, there is a lot of history and cool factoids that the average Joe more than likely knows nothing about. Let’s start back at the basics during the time that the United States was formed.
