Es gibt ein Weihnachtsmanndorf, ein Weihnachtsmann-Postamt, eine Weihnachts-Werkstatt. In our increasingly connected world of cloud-powered information, it’s easy to forget that there are enormous facilities around the U.S. that store all this data. For instance, it takes 11 diesel generators to power Microsoft’s 700,000-square foot data center in Chicago, which stores data for XBox Live, the company’s Bing search engine, its email service Hotmail and over 200 other sites. The QTS Metro data center in Atlanta, Georgia — which stores data for Twitter’s 100 million active users — takes 19 diesel generators. Also interesting is the durability of some of these giant facilities to withstand whatever mother nature throws at them. For example, the NAP of The Americas data center features 7-inch thick steel-reinforced concrete panels to keep severs safe in the event of extremely bad weather. The facility was built to withstand a Category 5 hurricane. I think the conservatives should get behind this movement. We should make sure these people are able to stay in downtown Boston and New York City and Atlanta and wherever. We should send aid convoys from Red States to the #OWS protests to show that we, too, have been victimized by Barack Obama’s donor base. And we should make sure they get free bus tickets to the Democrat Convention in Charlotte, North Carolina. Uploaded by conservARTive on Oct 8, 2011 What we saw at the "revolution": The facilitator made it clear that he was not a "leader" and that everyone was completely equal; words often spoken by leftists, but in this case they actually applied their philosophy. Into this surreal and oppressive environment, Rep. John Lewis, a civil rights hero and icon of American leftism, came to speak as has so often done at left-wing rallies and events in Atlanta. He is practically worshiped in Democrat circles, and was visibly stunned to see these Marxists turn him away. It was reminiscent of previous Marxist revolutions in history when those who ignorantly supported the revolutionaries are, over time, purged and rejected for the "good of the collective", when their usefulness has expired. http://bit.ly/ooXIx0 http://www.youtube.com Hat tip: All American Blogger. http://secularstupidest.com http://rightosophy.com http://con... read full post |
