On average, phone contracts last 2 years. During that time, what was originally the latest smartphone model quickly becomes an antiquated device as every month, nay, every day a newer model with even better capabilities is released.

Given this constant turnover in the mobile market, it’s not uncommon for tech lovers to grow excited as their upgrade eligibility date approaches. But whether you have a preferred brand, specific specs you’re looking for or have your next phone already picked out, smartphone owners should be aware of a few things before their next upgrade.

In terms of the ebb and flow of the Earth’s climate over the course of its history, the next ice age is starting to look overdue. Periods between recent ice ages, or ‘interglacials’, average out to be around 11 thousand years, and it’s currently been 11, 600 since the last multi-millennial winter.http://infogreenglobal.com/the-new-ice-age-could-start-in-the-next-millennium/

OMG! If I had a teenage daughter, I would be a mess..I wouldn't be able to sleep with all the things I hear going on. This is not cool, it's all about peer pressure. Find a way to talk to your daughter, if you can't send her my way!

The kind of fish you catch depends on the bait you use.

The PAP's thinly guised plundering of our monies is obscene! The arguments they use to support it can not stand up to any sort of probing.

1. To attract the right candidates? Define "right candidate" please. You use money as a lure and all you will attract are greedy people. A ministerial post has power and the ability to pass legislation that no CEO nor private sector employee has. You give a greedy person this authority and they WILL abuse it to further enrich themselves.

The last 15 years have proven this without a doubt. Self decided, astronomical pay many times over that of any minister in the entire world. Ridiculous amounts of bonuses that alone can fund small armies and STILL retaining their pensions payable from age 55 on top of their pay? Pensions that the average Singaporean can't even earn in the prime of our working lives!!!

2. To prevent corruption. WHAT!?!?!? You honestly think just because you have a la

Study suggests health, not wealth, determines happiness.A study of the “Economic Determinants of Happiness,” based on data gathered by the U.S. Census has revealed that health is a far more powerful determinant of an individual’s happiness than his or her income.

Here’s how the numbers break down:

Self-described “healthy” people are 20 percent happier than average, while “unhealthy” people are 8.25 percent less happy.
Individuals in the highest income bracket — think of them as the 1% — are only 3.5 percent happier than average. Which means health has 5-6 times more impact on overall happiness than having an above-average income.
Married people are about 10 percent happier than people who are not. It should be noted, however, that other studies that exclude divorced individuals from the “not married” category show that people who have never married are about as happy as people who are married.
Having children reduces happiness by a very small amount, 0.24 per
