From a thread on KVR : As some of you may have seen, I released last Friday a new sample set of the MC-3A electronic square wave keyboard. Besides its 12 chromatic sounds, it also has 5 percussion sounds: kick, conga, snare, cymbal and hi-hat. I don’t know why but images always seem to get special scrutiny. I recall this discussion: http://flapic.amplify.com/2011/05/11/twitpic-and-others-can-sell-your-photos-for-profit-use-who-doesnt-as-mobypicture/ Images seem to be the last bastion of #dinomedia that often gets overlooked in discussions about #dinomedia. In this case, the kind of transformation presented here wasn’t even possible when the original was published. Unfortunately, the copyright owner here doesn’t appear to be very forward thinking in terms of technology developments and their relation to his art. For my own experience, when I was looking for a banjo-themed avatar, I didn’t feel comfortable using things I found on the internet. Hence, _my_ picture of _my_ banjo.
