The United States Food and Drug Administration has as corrupt a reputation as any agency in the federal government. While corruption in government is nothing new, the problems it causes become exacerbated when the decisions being made have a real impact on people's health and people's lives. There is a debate raging over the introduction of what are being termed "biosimilar drugs". Some are calling for extra scrutiny given the complex nature of the drugs. Some others are wondering if said opposition to the introduction of these new and potentially revolutionary drugs is rooted in a genuine desire to protect the consumer or a more sinister desire to protect competing interests with a powerful lobbying presence in Washington... Obama noted in September that the U.S. had “gotten a little soft’’ when it comes to competing in international markets. Following Obama’s “lazy” characterization at APEC, Jake Tapper of ABC News asked CEOs in attendance if they would use similar terminology to describe American business efforts internationally. “I would not,” said Google Executive Chairman Eric Schmidt. As Jim points out, what people didn't expect was that the Kindle Fire would close off users access to competing apps. Well - that's not a problem anymore - from the Xda-developers forum member Jolleyboy has posted a guide for installing the Android Market on Amazon’s tablet. It’s not necessarily for beginners, since it requires you to root the tablet and change the the permissions of the /system/app directory. And I am certain that very soon you'll be able to have your Ice cream sandwich on a Fire pretty soon. Kim Kardashian Sued Caught Up in Hairy Mess In a new legal move, a competing hair removal company claims Kim Kardashian and the company she works for have misled consumers about all things follicle. http://sitemarks.in/entertainment/kim-kardashian-sued-caught-up-in-hairy-mess/link/90756/ in charge should be put down to his coaching approach and building while at City. Since Roman Abramovich upped the ante with Chelsea, there has been no shortage of extremely rich owners in the English Premier League. Since taking over control of Manchester City some 3 years ago, "Mansour, a member of Abu Dhabi's ruling Al-Nahyan family, has spent a reported £400 million on transfers," which have amazingly made the Argentinian star Carlos Tevez expendable, in my humble opinion. The depth of the squad is great and the composition included enough young English players like Joe Hart, Adam Johnson & James Milner to meet the more stringent player rules within the league, while competing in Europe. City's glory in winning the FA Cup in 2011 has cemented their belief to push on for even greater glory and Roberto's no nonsense approach to managing along with the backing of Sheikh Mansour has given City Fans the rightful belief to think of Glory this season! voters age 29 and younger (66%)." Please read the full article there. The first thing that popped to mind was the Employment Status of this demographic heading into the current election and the article does not disappoint in providing some statistics. Since so many people are un or under employed, the message given to provide the reasons and/or blame along with Positve Changes, will be listened to by many with their pocketbooks and wallets in mind. With Manchester United's profitability up and deals being struck all the time, as with Pakistan recently, along with an offering in the works, the wages and transfer fee for such a player might be more attractive than when the season started. City, afterall, are firing on all cylinders even with recent captain Carlos Tevez banned and likely heading toward the exit door. Time will tell, but the speculations will be back on in full force until January. Lets see where Inter Milan and Manchester United stand during the Winter Break! As it became clear the city of Sirte was soon to fall, yesterday morning, Qaddafi apparently began to flee the down in an armed convoy. The convoy scattered after it was attacked by a U.S. predator drone. Qaddafi fled his vehicle and was taken by fighters out of a drainage pipe after a gunbattle with his guards. A video taken a short time later shows a still-alive, but bloodied Qaddafi, in custody, seemingly begging for mercy. The former leader was reportedly then taken by ambulance to Misrata. Later photos and video show him dead with bullet wounds to his chest and temple. When he was finally shot remains unclear. The official version of events, that he was hit by stray bullets in the cross-fire, does not appear to be supported by the facts. I guess peaceful democratic protesters can be a little rough sometimes. Liked by Devendra Mudgal |
