Wise words from R. Crain... consumers don't want hype. They want reality & authenticity. They don't want a corporate drone telling them "eat our vegetables" as much as they want real people engaging with them and understanding their passions. If your only intent is to use SM to promote your own company & what you're selling, you've already lost. The relationship between Brand & customers is just like any other relationship - you appreciate those who know exactly who they are, what they stand for and are authentic in everything they do; those who are fishing for who they want to be when they grow up and lack authenticity will eventually fall by the wayside.

well- this could have been good news- but further reading tells that this has merely been passed on to the "special forces" branch of the military....
so- outsourcing the project ... outsourcing the blame i suppose is the thinking? here- cuts the accountability issues i guess-

Defense Secretary Leon Panetta said it's difficult to know "just frankly how much they're going to be able to get from having obtained those parts."

Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton and Panetta said they're not optimistic about getting the drone back because of recent Iranian behavior that Clinton said indicated "that the path that Iran seems to be going down is a dangerous one for themselves and the region."

"Given Iran's behavior to date we do not expect them to comply but we are dealing with all of these provocations and concerning actions taken by Iran in close concert with our closest allies and partners," she said.

It doesn't look "shot down" to me, more like it landed.

This is the newest Chinese drone. It seems much more advanced than what anyone imagined. Apparently, Bruce Wayne is now working for the Chinese military, which is pushing hard trying to match the US industry capabilities. They're getting close.

When the US intentionally executes political leaders of organizations attacking or planning against against the US, its Armed Forces, or Diplomatic Corps using drones or snipers, are US laws and Executive Orders being violated? Read this Executive Order in place since 1981 and decide for yourself. Should it be changed or given better definition? I say yes - what say you?

  1. Ned Hamson  I think law - executive order - was broken but too few agree.

Sadly, the question of whether government officials can be trusted to arbitrarily label Americans as enemies, let alone assassinate them, seems to have escaped the public mind. Red Team! Blue Team! is all that matters anymore. That power corrupts infallible men ... doesn't fit the narrative.

Now, the drone wars have come home to America.

this speaks loudly to my previous clip- about the use of drones-
not a good thing- and it will seem even worse- when these things get turned on us-while we shuffle and quibble about legalities- and how it is our right to use these weapons- am sure that idea will burst when the bullets and bombs are aimed at us

oh my gosh! well- they are terrorists.....- my mind just never went there- ....
