In Mac OS X there are some applications which live only in the menubar, over on the right hand side. Then there are other applications which to have an application window to look at, but also have the extra ability to get to the functions of the application from a menubar item. In this video I have a look at a few of the menubar items I have on my own iMac computer. We take a look at the ScreenFlow, Dropbox and Skype menubar icons briefly and I also look at a few others in more detail. I am excited about using Google Plus from a bloggers perspective. I am geeky Flight Attendant Travel Blogger that has quickly embraced Google Plus/ Google+. I have been bookmarking Google Plus blog post, articles, slideshows, videos, etc on my Google Plus Stream in an attempt to keep up with all the explanation, guides, tips and cheat sheets. I don’t think the problem is that “editing procedures” are too complex. In my experience, the problem is with administrators who have discretionary power to eliminate articles they don’t like (on grounds of “notability”), censor articles the views of which they don’t like (on grounds o f “neutrality”), and block the accounts of anyone who tries to undo, or even object to, their antics. Wikimedia Policy and Guidelines, and their enforcement by deleting, editing, blocking, and banning, looks to be more about assimilating newbies into the “community” and its views rather than in creating anything.
