If I learned one thing last week, it's that mobile battery technology isn't going to get substantially better anytime soon. Battery technology in our cell phones has taken a major hit since the start of the boom a couple years ago.

"The whole gospel of Karl Marx can be summed up in a single sentence: Hate the man who is better off than you are. Never under any circumstances admit that his success may be due to his own efforts, to the productive contribution he has made to the whole community. Always attribute his success to the exploitation, the cheating, the more or less open robbery of others. Never under any circumstances admit that your own failure may be owing to your own weakness, or that the failure of anyone else may be due to his own defects -- his laziness, incompetence, improvidence, or stupidity." --American economist Henry Hazlitt (1894-1993)

Meet today's protestors otherwise known as Occupy wall street of the 99%. They gather to protest and complain about what others have while they ignore their own shortcomings and bad choices. I guess our students are learning the lessons of socialized education well. I just wish they learned a lesson in economics 101 instead.

Ever been frustrated by sticky packing tape getting all over the place? I’ve been there. So when I learned about this artist who uses brown packing tape to create detailed works of art, I was seriously impressed.

Artist Max Zorn creates street art consisting mainly of portraits. His only tools are rolls of packing tape and a scalpel, but the results are astounding. The translucent portraits are hung over street lamps for the final effect, with multiple shades created through layers of tape strips. What is really impressive is that Zorn essentially works with just a single colored tape, creating several shades as he goes along. The sepia-toned art pieces have an incredible detailing, and are a delight to look at.

Why is Ron Paul using his time attacking Newt Gingruch - why not Santorum or Romney - or maybe he knows something the media doesn't. Maybe he perceives Gingrich to be more of a real threat to him than the other two. In any case, his arguments have no validity as is explained in the article.

What has been is what will be, and what has been done is what will be done; there is nothing new under the sun. Ecclesiastes 1:9 (HCSB)

The power sought by the federal government to force its will upon the people started long before President Obama took office. President Hamilton thought that the use of military force against the American people was justified to promote his unpopular Whiskey Tax. Does this sound familiar to anyone? The new tax is Obamacare, the force of Law is being waged against the states and the people by the Government and the Supreme Court. Although we the people fought and protested fehemently against the passing of Obamacare our 'representatives" refused to listen to us and passed the bill anyway, forcing all Americans to pay the tax thus imposed.

I guess we have not yet learned from history. Maybe this time "we the people" will win this war against our freedoms.

"That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Righ... read full post
