Always rely on a service such as microgiving.com which verifies the identity, cause and circumstances of people claiming hardships! In this economy it is very easy to prove your financial hardship. The sad truth is nobody cares about helping someone keep their electricity on, or prevent eviction, or help with car repairs so a person can keep working....sickness and injury especially to children is what captures the attention of people so everybody tends to use that plea. If it's real...there is some kind of document to prove it. Always..Please...make sure a recipient has been verified by a reputable organization before you donate!
