Within the Contemplative Order of Compassion, we do not necessarily embrace the notion of having to follow an archaic monastic system, or culturally irrelevant and misunderstood "rules", but consider the essential teaching of the Enlightened & Anointed Ones to be far more relevant and important.

Some have asked what precepts we live by then, and I thought I would share them here:

Not much to add.

I'm always wary of something for nothing. But maybe here my suspicion is that meditation sounds boring while meta-cognition sounds like geeky fun :)

This also reminds me of the concept of the sacred or semantic pause - the ability to take that extra moment to run self-diagnostics before you make a decision or react.

That's a geek ninja skill to conjure with.
