It may come as something of a surprise to those that are used to the stereotype of the rude New Yorker, but the city has been voted the friendliest in the world following a worldwide poll. It may not match up with the Hollywood image, but those disembarking from flights to New York are greeted not only by some amazing sights, but also a population that are amazingly friendly considering the size of the city. It is interesting how London faired in the same survey, rated by enough as the most unfriendly to get the number two spot, but at the same time get enough votes to be considered the fifth friendliest. All depends on who you talk to I guess! Liked by Robert West plasmaborne4rel New York City goes looking for a new home, one without a Tea Party and a dysfunctional government. You can still visit, but you'll need a passport. Liked by brightlight4 Now Steve Jobs can eat his words on the digital paper they’re written on. You may recall the Apple chief famously saying in 2008 about e-readers: “It doesn’t matter how good or bad the product is, the fact is that people don’t read anymore. Forty percent of the people in the U.S. read one book or less last year. The whole conception is flawed at the top because people don’t read anymore.” http://thereviewspoint.com/tablets/the-real-apple-ipad-killer-app-reading.html |
