It may come as something of a surprise to those that are used to the stereotype of the rude New Yorker, but the city has been voted the friendliest in the world following a worldwide poll. It may not match up with the Hollywood image, but those disembarking from flights to New York are greeted not only by some amazing sights, but also a population that are amazingly friendly considering the size of the city. It is interesting how London faired in the same survey, rated by enough as the most unfriendly to get the number two spot, but at the same time get enough votes to be considered the fifth friendliest. All depends on who you talk to I guess!

Studio City writer Karl Johnson responded to the LA TIMES author of this cited article with : "When a religion accepts the generous gift of tax-free status from our secular government, it breaks the contract if it continues to tell the country how it ought to live according to any particular religion.

"For example: How to vote, a woman's right to choose, stem cell research, creationism in place of science, denial of settled science on global warming, evolution, who will be allowed to marry, eye-for-an-eye death penalties or which God to pray to as a plan to solve real problems.

"In this country, so far at least, it's not legal to use public money to advance anyone's private religion." || http://lat.ms/nRL5hS

Powered by radical conservatives and Tea Party extremists, the mainland states are threatening to consume that last wisps of human decency and generosity left.

Democrats, who once stood for something nobody can remember anymore, are cowering the face of the Mosquito Republics Lincoln mistakenly forced back into the union.

Let's get the hell out of here!

New York City goes looking for a new home, one without a Tea Party and a dysfunctional government.

You can still visit, but you'll need a passport.

Now Steve Jobs can eat his words on the digital paper they’re written on. You may recall the Apple chief famously saying in 2008 about e-readers: “It doesn’t matter how good or bad the product is, the fact is that people don’t read anymore. Forty percent of the people in the U.S. read one book or less last year. The whole conception is flawed at the top because people don’t read anymore.” http://thereviewspoint.com/tablets/the-real-apple-ipad-killer-app-reading.html
