The social networking community is a fragile, collaborative ecosystem. Make the commitment. People will follow a trail of dependable, exciting, instructive news. But once the trail goes cold, they’re gone and likely never to return. He has leveraged technology to revive his career and become a much sought after Web 2.0 spokesperson. Now he's gone one step further and launched his own venture - I'm sure that there are a number of folks working behind the scenes on this - but MC Hammer is the front-man. Previous Post: http://mediamix.amplify.com/2011/04/15/mc-hammer-the-twitter-effect/ For the past few weeks I have been a bit quiet over here on Amplify. And I think that this will continue for a while, maybe even a long while. The reason is Google . This new service can do what Amplify does and in the last few weeks has attracted most of the people I have had discussions with on Amplify in the past year. Add to that the facts that Google is more user-friendly, a lot faster, and has more and more of my friends coming in and joining the service, and you can figure why I have been visiting Amplify a lot less than I used to. I will not say goodbye to Amplify, at least not yet. I will come and visit occasionally to check the posts of the people I follow here and check my archive of posts every now and then that I have built up over here. Google will be the place for new posts for me from now on. Anthony Weiner's 'crotch shot' 1. For one, you should diversify on Twitter. The more people you follow, the better you can hide all your college coed 'friends.' 2. When sending photos of your genitals, be sure to use a private direct message instead of a public @ reply so they don't appear in your feed. 3. And if you get caught, don't resort to lame excuses, like saying someone may have 'manipulated' your wiener. 4. If you really want to troll for girls anonymously, why not do it on one of the many adult 'dating' sites? 5. And if all else fails, you can always get a good, old-fashioned hooker. Just make sure you cover the money trail. Weiner Twitter photo scandal and how he could've prevented it H/T http://iowntheworld.com/blog Hebrews 10:25 Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching. (NIV) Meet periodically with people that love Jesus and follow Him. Simple! Disciples of Jesus meeting together is church. A church that loves Jesus, teaches the Bible, preaches the Cross, reach others in God's love is healthy. Jesus doesn't ask you, and doesn't want you to become religious, church fanatic, church activist or legalistic. But to love God - love people...learn-follow Jesus daily by praying, meditating in His words, letting His Spirit flow in your soul...and let your soul flow to others in service and joyful fellowship. Be part of the most beautiful journey possible on earth. A journey with His presence through the challenges and beauties of life. A journey of faith until the day where His presence will be complete and unique. I like that the main account is now for comment and engagement, however I wonder how effectively they can do this - one main account to comment on all areas? Maybe the actual Twitter accounts of journalists and editors - who can answer specific questions - may be better. |
