Unless this is some kind of hoax of unparalleled proportions, the gaffe-tastic photo of Obama idiotically waving his hand in a group shot of world leaders, blocking the face of one of them (not sure who, at this point) really is an authentic photo, and is worthy of Internet infamy.

Have at it!

(And if you have any evidence to the contrary, that it really is Photoshopped somehow, and that the hoax fooled Getty Images, MSNBC, and several other news outlets, please present your evidence in the comments section; in a sense, that’d be even more newsworthy than the already-known fact that our President is a clueless narcissist.)

Working on my new photoblog. I'm using multiple methods to post, which are all giving me different types of inline images and fancybox doesn't like it.

I took this photo of some of the beautiful, colourful veggies I bought yesterday, and used the shot as my photoblog for the day, on the http://365project.org
(Wonderful project. You commit to taking , or at least posting up a photo in this public space every day for 365 days.). I am not a very good photographer and use a point and shoot canon elph. However, within 10 minutes of posting this last night I had 20 views. I edited the text this morning and spent a couple minutes tweeting the link and posting to my facebook page. And immediately the view count shot up to 35.Not at all bad for an amateur who's a creativity wannabe. I'm not under the delusion that my great photography attracted people. But it does make me wonder- is it the colour that attracts people to look, or is it the images of food and the wealth of delicious, sensuous feelings that food provokes, that cause us to pore over photos of food?
