In the article, I erroneously reported that the payroll tax extension was for a year as originally passed by the House, but was actually reduced to two months in the Senate. Liked by Peter Egan Jr.
President Obama approved H.R. 3630, the Middle Class Tax Relief and Job Creation Act of 2011 Saturday. The bill extends for a year the Social Security payroll tax cut set to expire at the end of 2011 and yet another extension to unemployment compensation.
