TRANQUILITY AND PEACE OF MIND: LOOKING WITHIN - by Neha Seheni

How often is it that you hear people around you grumble about the pulls and pressures of modern life? And how often do you find yourself agreeing? How often is it that you hear people waxing lyrical about the idyllic life of the past? And again how often is it that this makes you want to wallow in the languid charms of a laid - back life?

Tranquility and mental peace do not necessarily have to be at odds with modern life. It is a fallacy that the contradictions of modern life spring from the pace at which it is lived. As has always been the case, it is just a question of looking within for answers.
