TOKYO — At least 45 tons of highly radioactive water have leaked from a purification facility at the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear power station, and some of it may have reached the Pacific Ocean, the plant’s operator said Sunday.

Let's have more technology! It's so good for us and makes our lives so pleasant.

Phobos-Grunt's batteries are draining and its orbit is degrading. It looks as if the probe will reenter later this month/early December. NORAD is reportedly putting a Nov. 26 reentry date on Phobos-Grunt.
And guess what? This will be the third large piece of space junk to reenter in an uncontrolled manner this year. In September, NASA's 6-ton UARS atmospheric satellite burned-up over the Pacific. In October, the German 2.4-ton ROSAT X-ray space mission reentered over the Bay of Bengal. Could November be the third consecutive reentry month?

“Fifty years ago, a forgotten government experiment seemed to prove that another kind of nuclear energy could nearly eliminate the risks of meltdowns, wastes and weapons.”

i am glad that this person finally got the memo....but i have to wonder? where have they been?
with that in mind maybe some other people are not aware of this either-
it is also written into law some b.s. about using mini-nukes is acceptable now- the UN and all or some such thing-
or just go and listen to chossudovsky's talk on war and globalization- he'll tell you all about it

After telltale radioactive elements were detected at Fukushima, workers took action to stop a chain reaction.

and some feel beyond belief - unfortunately it is true- and needs not only further scrutiny- but action as well-
hell- how bout this- lets just stop war!

links to a video about japan's recent earthquake and tsunami-

I wonder how long before it reaches here.....

When I came across this article this morning, my first reaction (if you'll pardon the pun) was, "Yeah, that will be good for the ole reproductive system." But, upon closer inspection, my cerebral semi-conductors cooled and I didn't have a complete meltdown over the idea. What do you think?

It will certainly be good for India...

  2. karen todd  @ericgyoung they’ve talked about this for quite some time—don’t think i would want to drive around on a mini nuclear reactor though….
