The United States Food and Drug Administration has as corrupt a reputation as any agency in the federal government. While corruption in government is nothing new, the problems it causes become exacerbated when the decisions being made have a real impact on people's health and people's lives.

There is a debate raging over the introduction of what are being termed "biosimilar drugs". Some are calling for extra scrutiny given the complex nature of the drugs.

Some others are wondering if said opposition to the introduction of these new and potentially revolutionary drugs is rooted in a genuine desire to protect the consumer or a more sinister desire to protect competing interests with a powerful lobbying presence in Washington...
      


When you take into consideration the miserable record of efficiency, the need for 100% backup, the periods of no wind, the extremely high maintenance costs, the lack of maintenance performed at ANY price, the health hazards to animals and people alike, the blight on America's landscape and the fact that this industry cannot survive without tax-payer subsidies; wind power needs to blow away.
