Such a cool place to chill, front and back are equal parts cool in their own right.

"Really all that we did was focus on the very most basic things of creating a community atmosphere, being a part of our community, reaching out to the people who work and live around us, and that's really generated a cool vibe."

Researchers have developed a way to classify foods that takes into account both the amount of carbohydrate in the food and the impact of that carbohydrate on blood sugar levels. This measure is called the glycemic load. A food's glycemic load is determined by multiplying its glycemic index by the amount of carbohydrate it contains.

Chaos theory has firmly established itself in many of the physical sciences, such as geology and fluid dynamics. This edited volume helps locate this revolutionary theory in sociology as well as the other social sciences. Doors previously closed to social scientists may be opened by this dynamic theory, which attempts to capture movement and change in exciting new ways. Editors Raymond A. Eve, Sara Horsfall, and Mary Lee, with guidance from Editorial Advisor Frederick Turner, provide a timely and well-chosen collection of articles, which first examines the emerging myths and theories surrounding the study of chaos and complexity. In the volume’s second part, methodological matters are considered. Finally, conceptual models and applications are presented. “Postmodern science” has provided and refined conceptual tools that have special value for the social sciences. This perceptive and thorough volume will be useful to sociologists and other social scientists interested in chaos... read full post

Nao, the miniature humanoid robot favorite, has added yet another capability to its growing list of awesomeness. It hasn’t gotten better at recognizing objects and faces. Its language comprehension skills haven’t been refined. Nor has it learned any new dance moves or card games. The latest addition to Nao’s bag of tricks is more about maintenance than marvel. Aldebaran, the makers of Nao, have created NEST – Nao Energy STation – that the robot uses to charge itself. No longer will members of the Nao Developer Program keep having to check to see if the robot’s still got juice. When its battery runs low, it simply walks over to its charging station, backs up to a post, plugs in just below its neck and takes a seat while it powers up. It uses its image tracking technology to orient itself to markings on a mat attached to the post. Today I tweaked, agonized over details, polished, trimmed,

refined and went half crazy over what and how I believed

what God would have me do for starving kids. I can mostly

only use free resources , but if anybody knows at all God

saw it all. My eyes are sore of months of staring and hoping

for the right something that will cause people to quietly

unite. God save the little ones and people most vulnerable.

Darjeeling tea is normally referred to as the tea that is refined, grown, produced and manufactured in the Darjeeling mountainous area of India. Darjeeling Tea is a sole tea “which, when brewed, has a unique, naturally happening aroma and flavor with light liquor and the infused leaf of which has a unique smell”. Compared to big leaved Assam Tea, Darjeeling tea is full-grown by tiny leaved Chinese plant ‘Camellia Sinensis’, first brought in India by the British during 1830s on Lord William Bentinck’s idea.

The International Atomic Energy Agency was aware that the site contained nuclear materials, Wedeman reported. He also found a handwritten note that said “350,000 tons declared.”

Anti-Qaddafi forces took over the site in Sabha just yesterday. Wedeman’s team found a garbage bag and rubber gloves in the warehouse that appeared to have been used recently and may be evidence of activity on the site.

Interestingly, a CNN reporter made the discovery…yet CNN doesn’t seem to consider it worth reporting…ho hum
