Article about the relationship between the lack of mobility due to the bad shape of the residential housing market, and the impact on the labor market. One of the causes of the lingering high unemployment is the inefficiency created by potential and qualified workers that can't move where the jobs are, because they can't sell their homes for a decent return. In these times, apparently renting is better than owning (mobility is key to remain employed).
